Geography
The geography of Aphroditus was practical for a civilization. Aphroditus was located on the eastern side of Greece, in a small bay. Further west were moutain ranges that extended North through Greece, which was where the Acropolis was located, meaning the sacred rock and the high city. The advantage to this was that the gods would stay protected by being at a higher elevation. The land near the bay was fertile and supplied much food for the citizens of Aphroditus, such as wheat, grapes, olives and many vegetables and herbs. Their bay was connected to the Aegean Sea which allowed the people to get goods from the ocean like pearls, gems, fish and a variety of other sea foods. This geography creates a successful economy for Aphroditus by having both fertile land and an ocean to provide food and trading items.
